Python Back-end Developer

Job Title: Python Backend Developer Location: Chicago, IL - hybrid onsite Duration: 6 months Responsibilities Understand API concepts such as REST, SOAP, and GraphQL. Understand API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT token validation). Author, maintain, and refactor Terraform modules (Infrastructure as Code). Understand Azure resource provisioning and cloud services; hands-on experience with Azure. Experience with Azure API Management, Application Gateway (including WAF), Azure Front Door, Key Vault, and monitoring solutions. Understand networking concepts: VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints. Proficient in GitHub Actions (workflow authoring, secrets management, environment setup). Experience integrating Terraform deployments into CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with automated testing in pipelines. Write and maintain Python scripts for automation.
