Senior Python Developer (Python | PySpark | Big Data) Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 2–3 Days Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract (Right to Hire) Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and architect scalable Python/PySpark applications Build data engineering solutions using Apache Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem Design and implement AI agents and agentic workflows Develop data processing pipelines and optimize Spark performance Collaborate with Risk, Quants, DevOps, and Production Support teams Perform code reviews, enforce SDLC best practices, and deliver high-quality enterprise solutions Support Market Risk, Stress Testing, and Regulatory Risk initiatives Required Skills Experience in Python and PySpark development Strong expertise in Spark Core, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, Pandas, and NumPy Experience with Hadoop, HDFS, Kafka, YARN, MapReduce, and ZooKeeper Strong SQL skills with query optimization and performance tuning Experience with NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB) and data modeling Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Preferred Skills Knowledge of Spark Graph Top 3 Must-Have Skills Python & PySpark Development Apache Spark & Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Kafka, YARN) #J-18808-Ljbffr
