Python Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Engineer with expertise in modern Python development, data engineering, asynchronous backend systems, and FastAPI. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable, high-performance applications, ETL pipelines, and AI-powered backend services while working with cloud storage, databases, and modern orchestration frameworks. Experience with graph processing, streaming architectures, and React-based frontend integration is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python 3.11+ and modern asynchronous programming patterns.

Build robust REST APIs and microservices using FastAPI, leveraging dependency injection, middleware, and streaming responses.

Develop asynchronous applications using asyncio, aiohttp, and httpx for high-performance API integrations.

Implement strong typing practices using PEP 484, advanced type hints, and Pydantic v2 for request validation and configuration management.

Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Prefect, ensuring incremental processing, idempotency, schema evolution, and automated scheduling.

Develop and optimize data pipelines integrating Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Azure Blob Storage, and various document ingestion frameworks.

Create efficient SQL queries involving complex joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, and timezone-aware transformations.

Build scalable ORM-based data access layers using SQLAlchemy 2.x with asynchronous support and manage schema migrations through Alembic.

Perform advanced data transformation using Pandas and PyArrow for large-scale analytical workloads.

Implement graph-based algorithms using NetworkX for connected components, graph construction, transitive closure, and alarm correlation use cases.

Develop regex-driven parsing and entity extraction solutions for network-related datasets, including IPv4, IPv6, interfaces, and configuration items.

Design backend services capable of streaming incremental AI/LLM responses using Server-Sent Events (SSE) and asynchronous processing.

Integrate backend APIs with modern React applications supporting real-time updates and streaming user experiences.

Develop secure authentication and authorization workflows using JWT and MSAL.

Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using pytest, unittest.mock, and automated quality enforcement tools.

Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong experience in backend software development using Python 3.11+.

Extensive knowledge of asynchronous programming using asyncio, async/await, and async generators.

Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST API development.

Strong understanding of advanced Python typing, Pydantic v2, and structured logging practices.

Experience working with Redis, including pub/sub messaging, TTL management, and asynchronous clients.

Strong understanding of retry mechanisms and resilience patterns using Tenacity.
