Brighton Solutions is a leader in Engineering, Technology, and Professional Staffing solutions. We are partnering with a client in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago to hire a full-time QA Analyst. This role can be supported fully on-site or in a hybrid model (3 days in office) and offers strong compensation and benefits. In this role, you''ll play a key part in ensuring application quality across web and mobile platforms. You''ll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to execute testing strategies, document results, and help maintain consistent QA methodologies across projects. What You''ll Do Perform end-to-end testing across applications, including mobile app testing Analyze, test, and certify application-specific software against business and functional requirements Document test cases, test plans, and test results throughout the QA lifecycle Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts, including Playwright-based testing Identify, log, track, and verify resolution of software defects Conduct ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specifications Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve testing issues Help plan and coordinate testing activities across projects as needed Research and apply new QA tools, products, and industry best practices What You Bring 2+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Analyst or similar role Experience with mobile, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and acceptance testing Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC environments Exposure to or hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams Nice to Have Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver Familiarity with performance or monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) Enterprise-level application testing experience Education Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
