Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of IT experience, including 6+ years in software testing and 5+ years in automation testing using Selenium. This role requires expertise in Python scripting, test planning, and execution, as well as experience with tools like JIRA and BitBucket. Candidates with experience in medical device testing and embedded systems will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Perform validation and verification (V&V) testing and review test artifacts.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Work in an Agile/Kanban development environment, ensuring quality assurance best practices.
• Utilize JIRA and BitBucket for tracking test cases, defects, and version control.
• Ensure software quality through systematic test execution and defect reporting.
• Troubleshoot issues in Linux environments and optimize test processes.

Primary Skills:

• 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on software testing.
• 6+ years of testing experience, including automation testing.
• 5+ years of experience with Selenium and automation testing frameworks.
• 4+ years of experience with Python and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and BitBucket.
• Expertise in creating, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience in medical device design, verification, and testing.
• Experience leading teams in Agile or Kanban development environments.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple testing activities concurrently.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
