QA Automation / System Validation Engineer

Job Title Hands on experience with HPE Servers, Network Switches, and Storage controllers Proficient in Operating Systems (Linux and Windows) System and Quality Assurance domain knowledge: Automated testing and script development Restful API testing UI automated testing Python development Issue management and escalation triage Collaborative and capable of communicating between functional teams, including Architects, Stakeholders, API development, Web UI development, and Database developers Participate in Sprint Planning and backlog activities SPIRA/JIRA – Log and track to closure Defect Management – log new issues, debug updates, and track to closure Test Execution Status – update of test cases executed, weekly status, document test failures and triage Test Report – Weekly overall test planning & metrics such as executed plan vs. actual, pass/fail %, current debug status, and issue count, status and age. Establish test requirements, test methodology and tool usage in conjunction with other PDS and PDC developers
