Role: QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and communicate business requirements with the acumen required to inform stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
- Create test plans in collaboration with a development team using agile scrum methodologies.
- Help with manual testing and develop improvements to automate the process.
- Take ownership of the regression testing execution and work closely with test lead/senior members
- Create automated tools and scripts to reduce repeated manual work in regressions.
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX to deliver client-centric solutions and value.
- Coach and mentor new and existing members of the team
- Elevate the team through the contribution of your unique skills, passions, and experiences.
Required:
- Technology Degree or diploma, or related field experience.
- Years of professional experience working in a related field.
- Experience in ReadyAPI/SoapUI/Rest Assured or any other backend test automation tool.
- Good knowledge and experience in an object-oriented development language (like Java, C++, or Python).
- Creativity, Integrity, and a passion for solving problems.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment. We prioritize the team above any individual.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to be successful working with diverse, global, and cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with a front-end automation tool Selenium
- Experience with HP, QC, & Jira.
- Experience working on Agile teams
