QA Lead Apply
Responsibilities: Maintain product and service quality procedures, including disposition of products, aged inventory policies, and regulatory compliance. Conduct quality systems audits and enforce standards under the guidance of the Quality Manager. Notify stakeholders of issues, provide technical support for resolution, and act as a liaison for the QC department. Lead food safety program updates, initiate complaint investigations, and oversee internal audits and mock recalls. Supervise Quality Control technicians, address staff issues, and ensure employee safety. Drive the Quality Improvement Program, focusing on specifications, complaint resolution, and team capability. Collaborate with management during facility inspections, customer audits, and regulatory interactions. Qualifications: 2+ years of GMP experience HS diploma with science classes and/or lab courses or 2+ years of manufacturing experience within the food industry OR B.S. degree in Life Sciences with 2+ years of manufacturing experience within the food industry OR Associates degree in Life Sciences with 2+ years of manufacturing experience within the food industry Lead/leadership experience- showing ability to lead Can run a project on their own- show they can work independently Meticulous/quality driven- not afraid to stand up for the correct things Job Type: Full-time Salary: $54,080.00 - $57,200.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience level: 2 years Schedule: Monday to Friday Work setting: In-person Manufacturing facility About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
