Job Title: QA Lead

Location: Vancouver, BC Seattle, VA

Duration: 12months

Job Description;

As QA Engineer– PLIM Systems, you will be working with a cross functional team to understand business and functional requirements and lead quality 

assurance efforts for Inventory, Supply Chain and Merchandize Planning and allocation initiatives. You will ensure that the master data platform is quality 

controlled using best practices to meet the scalability and reliability required for growing business needs. 

Collaborate & work with BSA to understand the requirements of the project, create test plans and test cases aligned to the business. Would be able to perform

different levels of testing, prioritize the test scenarios. Should be able to collaborate with ITH team in passing the requirements clear. Would be able to share 

the final sign-off after the test reviews. Collaborate with BSA to incorporate the feedback and changes as required. Able to maintain the documents related to 

testing process, provide detail reports on test outcomes and quality metrics.

Roles & responsibilities:  

  • Ensure business requirements, Solution, are understood well and test cases/strategy defined to minimize production defects. 
  • Be hands-on with PostgreSQL, python automation, test rail, master data management concepts and work experience, selenium, BDD automation 

if experienced as secondary skill.

  • Partner with other QA teams (Merchandize Planning and allocation, FLEX PLM, retail, supply chain), design test cases, execution plans to ensure 

that functionalities built are thoroughly tested. 

  • Support troubleshooting through solid analytical reasoning. 
  • Partner with Test Automation team to develop Automation scripts in Inventory area.

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise:  

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

· 10+ years in in design/QA of Master Data Applications, ENABLE (preferable)

· Strong knowledge & hands-on experience on Master data customizations

· 2+ years' experience in Test Automation

· Understanding of selenium-based test automation frameworks is needed 

· Basic understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and web services

· Ability to work independently with minimal direction be a self-starter with strong initiative, and ability to manage/execute workload to deliver high quality 

results. 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience in Waterfall & Agile methodology 

· Experience working with high performing transaction systems
