Wherever possible, we use these differences to drive competitive business advantage, personal growth and, ultimately, create business success.**Job Summary**Exciting opportunity to join the ConocoPhillips Integrated Operations team as QA/QC Specialist.**Position Overview**As a member of the ConocoPhillips (COP) Australia Pacific LNG Downstream (DS) Integrated Operations team, this position will contribute to the development of an organization which embraces a commitment to best practices and operational excellence while achieving zero injuries, incidents and maintaining standards for achieving excellence in operational performance.Reporting to the Technical Quality & Information Management Lead, the QA/QC Specialist will assure safe operations in the QA/QC area and comply with ConocoPhillips Internal Control Standards and other policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.This role is integral to assuring that all equipment and materials purchased/received by ConocoPhillips meet required Engineering standards and are subsequently provided to Operations in a safe/compliant condition for installation or use at the APLNG Downstream facility.This position is based at APLNG Curtis Island facility with travel as required.## **Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:*** Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance the integrity and efficiency of the ABU QA/QC inspection process, including the development and maintenance of supporting QA/QC procedures.* Act as the focal point for all quality‐related matters at the APLNG Curtis Island warehouse.* Define and maintain QA/QC requirements for materials catalogued in the COP inventory system, supporting the ABU Materials Management & Master Data Specialist to align material requirements across common product categories.* Support and train warehouse staff in identifying quality issues with received materials/equipment and lead Warehouse NCR investigations and KPI reporting.* Maintain accurate records of inspection results and associated material dispositions for all inspected materials and equipment.* Assist warehouse personnel in identifying opportunities to improve storage and preservation practices to ensure required quality and preservation standards are maintained through to final issue.* Liaise with ABU Engineering, Maintenance & Reliability, Projects, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate Third‐Party Inspection (TPI) service provider resources, as required.* Provide QA/QC inspection support to ABU Engineering, Maintenance & Reliability, Projects, and Supply Chain teams during rate reduction and shutdown events, as required.* Provide auditor support to facilitate the successful execution of the ABU Integrated Audit Schedule, including offsite supplier audits and material acceptance inspections, as required.* Provide back‐up support to the Technical Quality & Information Management Lead to undertake supplier QA approval documentation reviews & Quality/Inspection plan acceptance activities.* Provide ad-hoc site support to the Information Management (IM) team, as required.**You will bring to the role*** Cultural alignment with ConocoPhillips’ SPIRIT Values* Industry related certificates and qualifications* Trade qualifications in a suitable mechanical or electrical field.
