Quality Control Technician Job Summary: Supports production by testing materials and finished products, maintaining quality systems, identifying issues, and ensuring products meet internal and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non‑routine testing on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished goods. Document test results, equipment logs, and inventory records. Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Calibrate, validate, and maintain lab and QA equipment. Monitor testing procedures to ensure compliance with specifications and test methods. Log results into quality systems and release product per control plans. Report nonconforming materials and track corrective actions. Monitor product quality throughout production and post‑production stages. Manage and control color formulas and visual standards. Conduct visual inspections of in‑process and finished goods. Perform pallet audits and verify labeling accuracy. Maintain lab organization and cleanliness. Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and follow technical documents, procedures, and equipment manuals. Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish a plus. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Basic math and computer skills. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. 1–2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in environments with noise, temperature variation, dust, chemicals, and industrial conditions.
