Description
Leidos is currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our team in Arlington, VA. This position is fully on-site.
The Automation Tester will join a high-impact program, focused on building and maintaining automated testing frameworks for mission‑critical applications. You will be responsible for developing and executing tests to ensure the quality and functionality of systems, documenting test results, and collaborating with development teams to resolve identified issues.
Primary Responsibilities
Execute Automated Test Suites Across Multiple Environments
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand testing needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
Design and implement testing strategies and methodologies for web applications
Develop, document, and maintain functional, integration, security, and load/stress testing procedures
Identify, analyze, and report defects and issues promptly, and work with the development team to resolve them
Document and deliver an approach for automated acceptance testing, integration/regression testing for all new applications and capabilities
Develop new and/or maintain existing automated scripts (Selenium, Java, Selenium WebDriver) for web, desktop, mobile, API, and database applications
Integrate automation scripts into the CI/CD cloud pipeline using Bitbucket, GitLab, or other approved DISA tools
Enhance automation frameworks and collaborate on optimizing pipeline efficiency while adhering to established best practices
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
Drive test automation best practices across the organization
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's in a relevant discipline and 4+ years of experience in software testing and Quality Assurance (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber
Strong knowledge of networking and operating systems
Experience working in a high‑op‑temp, top‑secret environment
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
Proficiency in conducting end‑to‑end testing of large or complex information systems
Knowledge of test engineering methodology
Demonstrated communication skills across internal and external organizations
Active DOD TS/SCI clearance; may be required to obtain CI Poly
Preferred prior experience with DISA and support to mission partners

Pay and Benefits
Pay ranges from $73,450.00 to $132,775.00. Compensation is based on responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data.
