Job Summary
Seeking an experienced QA professional with strong expertise in Java automation and ADA accessibility testing to lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
Job Description
8-12 years of QA experience with End to End Testing across various platforms. Test strategy and test planning development. Manual testing expertise. UI automation using Java and Selenium preferred. API automation using REST Assured and Postman. Accessibility testing focused on ADA/WCAG 2.1 Standards utilizing NVDA and JAWS tools. Experience working in Agile Scrum environments. Defect management using JIRA and ALM. Nice to have: banking financial services domain knowledge, CICD pipelines with Jenkins, SQL querying, Git version control and team leadership capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure product quality.
Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts primarily using Java and Selenium.
Perform manual and automated testing of UI and APIs to validate functionality, performance and security.
Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.1 standards using tools like NVDA and JAWS.
Collaborate closely with Agile teams including developers, product owners and business analysts to deliver high quality software.
Manage defects efficiently using JIRA and ALM and ensure timely resolution.
Mentor and lead QA team members to enhance testing practices and team productivity.
Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines using Jenkins to support continuous testing.
Utilize SQL for backend data validation and Git for version control and collaboration.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes.
