Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS)A precision CNC manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector with CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS). This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, performing in-process and final inspections, and ensuring tight-tolerance machined parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical inspection background, advanced GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced CNC machining environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished parts for conformance to drawings and customer requirementsPerform first article inspections and random inspections throughout productionProgram and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS (preferred)Conduct mechanical inspections using precision measuring toolsIdentify, document, and communicate nonconformancesImmediately coordinate quality issues with the Quality SupervisorEnsure compliance with internal quality procedures and customer standardsMaintain accurate inspection records and documentationQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years of related quality inspection experience, preferably in a CNC machining environmentStrong knowledge of inspection tools, shop math, and machine shop practicesThorough understanding of GD&TAbility to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructionsStrong computer skillsCMM programming experience with PC-DMIS strongly preferredMechanical inspection experience requiredTeam-oriented with flexibility in work assignmentsKey Skills & CompetenciesMechanical aptitude and inspection expertiseStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficient shop math skillsClear written and verbal communication skillsSound judgment and attention to detailAbility to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standardsWork EnvironmentPrecision CNC manufacturing facilityNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
