Overview Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in packaging solutions, is seeking a QC Manager to join their team. As a QC Manager, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization. Responsibilities Manage and continuously improve internal quality systems, procedures, work instructions, and documentation (QMS). Oversee compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, FSC, and SFI, ensuring regulatory adherence. Coordinate customer and supplier relations related to quality, translating specifications into manufacturing requirements. Lead internal quality audits and serve as the primary contact for third-party QMS and facility audits. Investigate, track, and respond to customer complaints and internal issues, implementing effective corrective actions. Qualifications Proven experience in quality management within manufacturing environments, especially in printing or packaging industries. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and familiarity with FSC/SFI standards is highly preferred. Strong strategic thinking with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality excellence. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and typing skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative mindset. What’s in it for me?
