QC Technician (Warehouse) Apply
Exciting opportunity to join a growing, global pharmaceutical organization as a QC Technician! Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm Location: Central Islip, NY Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform sample withdrawal of incoming raw materials and packaging materials, including receipt, logging, distribution, and destruction. Sample materials received at company warehouse locations for laboratory testing in accordance with established sampling procedures. Update and maintain all sample information in SAP per company procedures. Complete all required data entry accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor and document temperature and humidity conditions for retention and sample storage rooms. Load and manage samples in stability chambers and submit stability samples according to established schedules. Assist with shipment of samples to contract laboratories as required. Maintain and update retention rooms for raw materials as required. Provide general housekeeping in the QC laboratory and perform other related duties as assigned by management. Education and Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or cosmetic raw material sampling. High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or higher in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, or a related field (preferred). Experience with oral solid dosage products is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and laboratory-related systems. Skills and Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to understand and analyze technical and complex data. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Professional & Behavioral Competencies Work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, with some weekend work as required based on business needs.
