Role Overview

The QE Lead/Manager will oversee Quality Engineering (QE) activities for the development and maintenance of e-commerce web applications. This includes ensuring robust test coverage across 15 websites, optimizing cross-browser, mobile, and tablet functionality, and implementing QE and automation improvements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Planning, preparing, and executing functional and regression test cases.
• Developing comprehensive test and automation strategies.
• Integrating Cypress and PHP unit tests with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Driving QE improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and software quality.
• Leveraging innovative techniques such as GenAI for documentation and QE processes.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:
  • Establish and lead the QE team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all QE activities.
  • Ensure efficient execution of manual and automated testing processes.
• Automation & Tools Development:
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks and tools, including Cypress.
  • Drive integration of automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Conduct end-to-end automation testing for web and API platforms.
• Test Planning & Execution:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to streamline testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Process Optimization:
  • Plan and implement QE improvements to increase velocity, reduce backlog, and ship faster.
  • Apply advanced tools such as GenAI for documentation and testing enhancements.
• Client Collaboration:
  • Engage effectively with clients to understand requirements and deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a QE Lead/Manager, including setting up QE teams.
• Expertise in automation tools, particularly Cypress, with extensive experience in:
  • Web and API automation.
  • Cross-browser testing for mobile and web applications.
  • End-to-end test automation.
• Strong background in QE strategy, planning, and execution.
• Proven track record of integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent client interaction and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with GenAI for QE-related tasks is a plus.
