QIDP/Program Specialist

Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional – Warminster, PA Earning: $25.99 per hour. Shift: Monday – Friday (Business Hours). Position Details The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional/Program Specialist serves as the primary advocate for individuals and ensures that monitoring functions are completed appropriately. The QIDP/PS also acts as the Program Specialist (PS). A QIDP may be assigned a defined caseload, which may encompass traveling to and being responsible for a number of homes in the community (SFR & CLP). The QIDP is required to travel to any day program for the individual and serves as the liaison between the facility, the individual's family, and outside agencies. Supervision is provided by the Social Services Supervisor. Responsibilities Act as the primary advocate for individuals and ensure monitoring functions are completed appropriately. Serve as a Program Specialist (PS) and manage defined caseloads. Travel to community homes and day programs as required. Function as liaison between facility, families, and outside agencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, liberal arts or human services related field from an accredited college or university and at least two (2) years of experience working directly with persons with disabilities.
