Quality Analyst - Princeton, NJ - Hybrid

$120k-$135k + Bonus

We are seeking skilled QA Analysts to contribute to the testing of our diverse applications, including user interfaces, business intelligence solutions, and real-time transaction processing and middleware systems. This role requires a strong understanding of end-to-end system testing and the ability to perform both manual and automated testing. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our Princeton, NJ office.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to guarantee high-quality software deliverables.
• Actively participate in requirements and functional specifications reviews to create effective use cases for functional testing.
• Design and document detailed test cases covering both functional and technical aspects of our exchange systems.
• Manage all phases of the testing lifecycle, including test plan and use case creation, defect tracking, and validation of resolutions.
• Perform hands-on testing of user interfaces and validate system behavior through application log and database analysis.
• Develop and maintain automated test tools and procedures to enhance regression testing efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with the development team to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of QA testing processes and best practices.
• Proven experience testing user interface and transaction processing systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
• Proficiency with the Linux command line interface.
• Basic understanding of Java.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with open-source BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software QA/testing.
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools.
