Quality Analyst - Princeton, NJ - Hybrid

We are seeking skilled QA Analysts to contribute to the testing of our diverse applications, including user interfaces, business intelligence solutions, and real-time transaction processing and middleware systems. This role requires a strong understanding of end-to-end system testing and the ability to perform both manual and automated testing. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our Princeton, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to guarantee high-quality software deliverables.
- Actively participate in requirements and functional specifications reviews to create effective use cases for functional testing.
- Design and document detailed test cases covering both functional and technical aspects of our exchange systems.
- Manage all phases of the testing lifecycle, including test plan and use case creation, defect tracking, and validation of resolutions.
- Perform hands-on testing of user interfaces and validate system behavior through application log and database analysis.
- Develop and maintain automated test tools and procedures to enhance regression testing efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with the development team to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of QA testing processes and best practices.
- Proven experience testing user interface and transaction processing systems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
- Proficiency with the Linux command line interface.
- Basic understanding of Java.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with open-source BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA/testing.
- 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools.
