Reporting Line Reports To: QA Manager Direct Reports: None (may mentor junior QA staff or interns)Experience Requirement 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, including automationand agile delivery environments.Main Duties1. Test Planning & Design – Create detailed test plans and cases from requirements andtechnical specifications; set up and maintain test environments.2. Automation & Execution – Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests (Playwright) andintegrate them into CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability, test coverage, and release confidence.3. Manual Testing – Perform exploratory, usability, regression, and risk-based testing to ensurecomprehensive functional and integration coverage.4. Performance & Non-Functional Testing – Design and execute load and performance testsusing Locust; analyze results and collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecksand recommend scalability improvements.5. Defect Tracking & Reporting – Log, track, and verify defects using Jira; collaborate withdevelopers to ensure timely resolution.6. Process Improvement – Continuously improve QA workflows, test coverage, and qualitypractices by adopting effective tools, automation enhancements, and risk-based testingapproaches.Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
