In this role you

You are responsible for performing incoming inspection of purchased finished goods received at the warehouse, handling nonconforming records promptly, maintaining daily management boards, working under general supervision.

Your role:

• Helps to perform inspection of purchased finished goods received at the warehouse in a timely manner and adheres to established guidelines to ensure the quality and conformity of the goods as per specified standards before they are further processed or distributed.
• Supports the execution of delivery holds and certain hold activities as directed, contributing to ensuring product quality and compliance with standards.
• Helps in the assessments of supplier capabilities, executes protocols related to quality assurance, and ensures the integrity of purchased components for sustained product quality and compliance.
• Assists in maintaining daily management boards, collects data required to facilitate the tracking of onsite processes and operational key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports to management for informed decision-making.
• Assists in performing regular audits and inspections across manufacturing processes, materials, and final products and identifies any deviations or non-conformities to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance.
• Conducts quality notification (QN) processes from creation to closure, maintains all quality system records such as non-conformance reports (NCM) accurately and in compliance with established procedures.

  • High School Diploma, Vocational Education.

  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Inspection, Manufacturing environment.
  • \n
  • Prefer experience with QA, QMS, Continuous Improvement, Quality Inspection, Auditing, technical documentation.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 5 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Mt. Pleasant PA is $19.50 to $27 Hourly.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
