Project Sector: Mission CriticalProject Type: Life SciencesProject Location: OxfordKey Responsibilities:Review and sign off on process piping installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.Conduct mechanical inspections, including dimensional checks, material verification, and pressure testing of process systems.Collaborate with the project engineering and construction teams to resolve mechanical quality issues.Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, approvals, and non-conformance reports.Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on design, fabrication, and installation processes.Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site.Participate in internal and external audits related to mechanical quality and compliance.Qualification:Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Proven experience in mechanical quality inspection, preferably in process piping or mechanical packages for life sciences, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects.Strong understanding of piping codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASME B31.3, GMP standards).Experience with inspection tools, measurement devices, and documentation procedures.Excellent attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Willingness to work on-site and engage directly with construction and project teams.
