Overview QA Inspector: First Shift or Second Shift Temp to Hire Pay rate: Up to 38/hr depending on experience About the Role: As a QA Inspector in our Receiving department, you'll be the first line of defense in quality control—ensuring incoming and in-process parts meet strict specifications and documentation standards. You'll collaborate with design engineers, test teams, and fabricators to uphold quality from the moment parts arrive through final production. What You’ll Do Inspect incoming and in-process mechanical and electrical components using precision measurement tools Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other instruments to verify part compliance Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceable records Apply GD&T principles to evaluate tolerances and fit Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth and compliant workflow Support root cause and corrective action activities as needed What You Bring Previous experience in a quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing QA role Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T principles Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards is a plus Comfortable working with small, high-precision parts The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
