Our client, a leader manufacturer of aerospace and defense, is hiring a Quaility Assurance Manager to join their team in Mountainhome, PA!*This is a 18-month W2 contract with benefits!*In this role, you’ll lead the quality team to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and drive continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for audits, customers, and regulatory agencies while reducing cost of poor quality and enhancing product reliability.Responsibilities:Lead and coach the quality team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.Drive corrective actions, root cause analysis, and process improvements to reduce escapes and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).Serve as the primary liaison for customers, audits, and regulatory agencies, ensuring quality expectations are met.Requirements:Bachelor’s + 8 yrs QA experience or advanced degree + 5 yrs.Aerospace or similar manufacturing experience, AS9100 knowledge.Leadership experience managing teams and influencing others.AS9100 certification experience a plus.Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
