Overview:The QA/QC Commissioning Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our client’s high-performance data center projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. This role oversees the implementation and execution of Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs during the construction and commissioning phases, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and clients. The successful candidate will champion QA/QC efforts across multiple projects and provide oversight through all five levels of the commissioning process.This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire role. There are openings in Denton, TX, Dalton, GA, and Marble, NC. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage QA/QC programs during construction and commissioning phases.Serve as the central point of coordination for quality-related communication among site teams, vendors, and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable regulations through detailed inspections and documentation.Maintain and organize QA/QC documentation including inspection records, non-conformance reports, test results, and calibration logs.Develop and implement inspection checklists, test plans, and SOPs.Conduct field inspections, factory witness testing (FWT), and site visits to validate compliance with design standards.Collaborate with engineers on submittals and system integration reviews.Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.Support all five commissioning levels: FWT, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), OEM Start-Up, Functional Performance Testing, and Integrated Systems Testing.Promote adherence to safety, environmental, and securityTeamwork: Works collaboratively with internal and external teams to drive project success.Planning & Organization: Strong time and resource management in dynamic project environments.Quality-Focused: Upholds high standards of workmanship and documentation.Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.Safety & Compliance: Maintains strict adherence to EHS and industry standard Must HavesMilitary technical training (MOS), trade certification, or a relevant technical degree preferred.5–7 years of QA/QC or commissioning experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments.QA/QC Cx Manager Data Center Construction5–7 years of QA/QC or commissioning experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments.Strong understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, and controls.Familiarity with commissioning processes, QA/QC documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.Ability to write and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Analytical and technical report-writing skills.PreferredExperience with commissioning software (e.g., Procore, CxAlloy).Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PDF markup tools.Strong communication and organizational skills.Compensation:$90,000 to $130,000 salary upon conversionExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
