Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our growing manufacturing team. This role plays a critical leadership position in ensuring products and raw materials meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer requirements prior to release.
The QA Supervisor serves as the primary release authority for the site, provides leadership to QA Technicians and QC Inspectors, oversees compliance with ISO 9001 and internal standards, and acts as a key liaison between Quality Control and cross-functional teams.
This position requires strong knowledge of manufacturing quality systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Authorize product release and enforce established quality standards
Develop and manage incoming material inspection processes
Establish QC procedures, inspection criteria, and controlled documentation
Lead, mentor, and train QA/QC team members, including resource planning
Maintain audit readiness and represent Quality during internal and customer audits
Oversee non-conformance investigations and ensure effective CAPA implementation
Monitor cleanroom bioburden and particulate levels, escalating deviations as needed
Track and report QC metrics, inspection results, and trend analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and supply chain
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate degree required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a supervisory role
Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in team settings
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems
Understanding of risk-based quality techniques and their impact on product fit, form, and function
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
