They are searching for someone to join their ranks and continue their tradition of delivering high quality products to their customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter accustomed to both managing and maintaining a Quality Management System for a government technology company delivery of both hardware and software products.This position will be required to be onsite 3 days per week between Greenbelt and Frederick, MD. Objectives of this RoleStrategize, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System that adheres to organizational objectives and contractual requirementsDevelop quality processes for evaluation and improvementMaintain organizational and customer (government) standards of quality and reportingOversee quality across multiple projects and teams, ensuring quality goals are reached while supporting on-time deliveryEstablish a well documented process for quality management between the organization and their AS9100 certified contract manufacturerDaily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage their QMS and be accountable for maintaining their ISO 9001:2015 certificationWork closely with cross-functional teams and assigned project leads to execute the Quality Management SystemSupport project teams (internal and sub-contractor) for optimal quality assurance, and coordinate and execute QMS activities on cross-project initiativesIdentify key quality goals for cross-functional teams and external vendors, partners, and subcontractorsWork with other team members to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the companySchedule and lead internal quality auditsSupport, review, and monitor nonconformance reports, corrective action reports, and root cause analysesEstablish processes and lead communications with customer (Government) quality representatives including DCMA personnel; support regular Government audits and site visits at the client site and sub-contractor facilitiesDesired Skills and QualificationsU.S. CitizenshipSecret security clearance desirable (or ability to obtain Secret level clearance)Bachelor’s degree required (technical degree preferred)8-10+ years of experience in a Quality Management role for technology projects/programsAn ASQ quality control certification is preferredExperience as in internal auditor – certification is preferredExperience interacting with the Defense Contract Management Agency(DCMA) in a quality management role is preferredExperience in Configuration Management is a plusA “doer” that can effectively support the team while working side-by-side and being hands- on in meeting the contract quality requirementsAbility to interpret/analyze complex information within operational and development environmentsWork independently, as well as in a team environment, within the bounds and guidelines of the organizationWillingness to travel to meet and work with the customer on site
