This opportunity is full-time with strong long-term growth potential.What You Will Be DoingLead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities within a multi-shift manufacturing environmentOversee and develop a team of quality professionals, including engineers, technicians, and specialistsDrive internal and external audit readiness, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirementsPartner with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain strong relationshipsChampion continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes including metal components, heat treatment, and finishingWhat We Need From YouTo be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience8–10+ years of quality experience within automotive manufacturing, specifically working with metal componentsStrong background in metallurgy, coatings, or related material sciences within a production environmentProven experience leading audits, corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 standardsDemonstrated leadership experience managing and developing quality teamsExperience working directly with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers, including customer-specific requirements and portalsAll-Star SkillsetThe ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:ASQ certification (CQE, CQM, CRE, or similar)Experience with supplier quality programs and sustainability initiativesStrong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to root cause analysisAbility to navigate a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment with multiple prioritiesExperience supporting 24/7 or multi-shift plant operationsThe PerksStable, well-established organization with strong employee tenure and internal promotion opportunitiesSupportive leadership team that values collaboration and long-term successComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Generous PTO offering with flexibilityOpportunity to make a visible impact within a growing and quality-focused organizationStaffBright – Who We AreStaffBright connects exceptional professionals with fulfilling opportunities in Finance, IT, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing.
