Title: Quality ManagerLocation: Near Monee, IL 60449Hire Type: Direct HireCompensation: $90,000 – $100,000Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, and more Overview: This is a hands-on Quality Manager role reporting directly to the General Manager. The role will take full ownership of the Quality Management System, focusing heavily on quality control, process development, and implementation of standardized procedures. This person will be responsible for establishing structure, closing current gaps in inspection and quality processes, and driving improvements across the operation. Responsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 environment)Develop, implement, and improve quality processes, procedures, and work instructionsEstablish and oversee inspection processes, including final inspections and First Article Inspections (FAIR)Identify gaps in current quality practices and implement corrective actionsLead internal audits and support external audits as neededManage corrective action processes and drive root cause resolutionPerform supplier quality activities, including occasional travel for supplier visitsConduct spot checks and ensure product quality standards are consistently metSupport legacy product lines while helping build scalable quality systems for future growthPartner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to improve overall product qualityQualifications:Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment (certification not required but must be able to lead audits)Strong internal auditing experience and ability to lead audit processesHands-on experience building or improving quality systems and processesFamiliarity with Six Sigma methodologies and terminologyAbility to operate independently and take ownership of the quality functionLeadership mindset with experience driving processes (formal people management not required)Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
