Quality Assurance Manager Apply
Teledyne Battery Products is seeking a hands‑on Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements while driving a strong culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a working manager who enjoys being on the floor, in the lab, and partnering cross‑functionally to solve problems and improve outcomes.This is a full‑time, onsite role with hands‑on leadership responsibility.What you’ll doLead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with AS9100 and ISO requirementsOversee Material Review Board (MRB) activities, dispositioning, and related documentationPlan and lead internal and external audits, manage corrective and preventive actions, and ensure ongoing regulatory complianceDrive continuous improvement using tools such as Root Cause Analysis, SPC, FMEA, Lean, and Six SigmaConduct and support lab testing, receiving inspections, in‑process inspections, and failure investigationsInvestigate customer complaints, lead root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actionsDefine and manage supplier quality standards, conduct supplier audits, and oversee supplier corrective actionsLead, mentor, and develop the quality team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementPartner cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership to support business goalsMonitor quality trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices to proactively address riskPromote safety, professionalism, and compliance with company policies, including PPE requirementsWhat you needBachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of directly related experience (or equivalent combination)Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experienceDemonstrated knowledge of AS9100 and ISO quality systemsAerospace industry experienceExperience working in a chemistry or manufacturing lab environmentInternal and external ISO audit experience.
