Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet quality standards and specifications. This position reports to the Construction Manager who communicates the job requirements to their team. The ideal candidate will possess basic construction or general labor skills. The QA/QC Technician assists with inspecting aspects of cable installation, rough‑in, routing, telecommunication room build‑out, cable terminations, labeling, and grounding to ensure accuracy and standards are met, documenting any issues. This position may be required to perform a variety of other duties assigned in addition to those listed below. Conducting construction inspections, ensuring projects and materials used meet quality standards and specifications. Ensures construction work is performed according to plans and specifications. Performs tests on materials and installations to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Demonstrating a working knowledge of construction and safety measures. Work and collaborate with construction crews and staff at all levels of the company. Maintain knowledge of project specifications and compliance requirements. Identify, document, and communicate project issues with a proactive recommendation for resolution. Strong attention to detail. Draft reports based on findings and recommendations. Demonstrates and maintains a working knowledge of construction safety measures and situational awareness at all times. Travel is required for this position (approximately 75%). Additional duties as may be assigned. Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge Of Company policies, procedures, products, and services. Knowledge and competency of construction standards and specifications. Knowledge of Procore is a plus. Skills Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with a diverse group of individuals, both verbally and in writing. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to use testing equipment. Ability to use PDF programs. High degree of focus, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. General Company Requirements Work independently and be a team player within the organization. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines. Work in a fast‑paced environment. Help promote a safe working environment by following safety processes and procedures. Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. Ability to pass drug screening and background checks. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Heavy equipment experience a plus.
