LHH is partnering with a growing food and beverage manufacturer in South Jersey to identify a Quality Assurance professional to support plant operations and uphold the highest product quality and food safety standards. This role reports to the QA Manager and plays a key part in driving compliance, process improvement, and team leadership within a fast-paced production environment focused on beverage and sauce manufacturing.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standardsConduct plant audits, documentation reviews, and internal inspections (including Glass & Brittle Plastic audits)Support internal and external audits (SQF, customer, regulatory)Investigate quality issues and partner with Production to implement corrective actionsManage product holds, rework processes, and finished goods evaluationsPerform and review analytical testing on raw materials and finished productsTrain and mentor QA staff and production employees on quality and compliance standardsMaintain accurate QA documentation, non-conformance reports, and complaint investigationsAssist in managing calibration, equipment troubleshooting, and facility inspectionsProvide leadership support to the QA team, including scheduling, coaching, and performance oversightQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Agriculture, or related field5+ years of progressive QA leadership experience within food manufacturingCertifications required: HACCP and PCQI (BPC or ability to obtain within 6 months)Strong knowledge of processing/canning operations and quality systemsExcellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsHealth insurance, dental insurance and life insurance are offered with this full-time direct hire role.
