Position is direct supervisor of hourly associates supporting quality activities.Required Education and ExperienceExperience with food safety quality assurance, requiredMicrosoft Excel experience, requiredKnowledge with Food Safety Management Systems, preferredSafe Quality Foods Certified, preferredHACCP Certified, preferredGFSI Certified, preferredPCQI Certified, preferredTraining and facilitation skillsResponsibilitiesSupports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall FSMS quality system or a specific procedure, including management review, CAPA management, internal quality audits, quality self-assessments, change control, document control, and standard operating procedures/work instructions.Provide support on key regulatory, customer, and 3rd party audits.Track, monitor, and report quality assurance metrics for the site.Monitor the training and development of site associates to ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety processes, customer requirements, and regulationsBe a customer point of contact for QA related issues/initiatives as assigned.Partner with QA management to develop, distribute and maintain regular management reports.Assist in the review, monitoring, and maintenance of the Food Safety Management SystemMeet regulatory requirements relevant to their daily operationsEnsure customer service and business standards requirements are met dailyPlan, conduct, and act upon inspection processes- Gemba; Standards Confirmation etc. dailySupervise, coach, and train hourly associates supporting quality assurance and control activities (e.g.Operators, QA Tech I, QA Tech II, etc.)Other projects and duties as assignedDHL Supply Chain offers multiple benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Discounted Stock Purchase, 401K and a generous PTO policy.Our Organization is an equal opportunity employer.
