Quality Assurance Technician/Quakertown, PA

6AM to 2:30PM or 8AM to 4:30PM

$45,760 - $54,080 +/-

Primary Job Objective:

As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct and/or improve our organizations final products in order to meet our established quality standards. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who possesses the ability to relate to employees at all levels. As unique situations present themselves the selected candidate must be sensitive to internal customer needs, corporate goals, and company reputation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine WIP & Finished Goods inspections.

  • Perform data entry to support scrap, inspection, and audit efforts.

  • Support the Quality Engineers with all other quality related tasks.

  • Support with investigation of internal and external rejects.

  • Learn to prepare relevant reports and work with customers during FAI and Pre-Shipment inspections.

  • Work with manufacturing personnel as needed to resolve problems and provide clarification of requirements.

  • Performs operational improvement and skill development activities with current employees including 5-Why and other RCCA methodologies related to scrap reduction.

  • Own and re-enforce the companys cultural core elements: Safety First, Wow The Customer, Relationships Matter, Do The Right Thing, and Can-Do Attitude.

Position Requirements:

  • Previous experience and solid understanding of safety systems, safety culture and enforcement of safety rules and policies.

  • 2-5 years progressive Quality Management System (QMS) experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a job shop environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including 5-Why, DMAIC and other RCCA methodologies.

  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Operating and Quality Management Systems.

  • Commitment to upholding company culture and values.

  • Exceptional communication skills -both verbal and written.

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

  • Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and personal accountability.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.

Compensation & Benefit Details:Weekly pay every Friday

  • Individualized pay for performance

  • 2 Weeks of Paid Vacation At Hire (prorated in your first year)

  • 10 Paid Holidays & Paid Parental Leave
