About the job Quality Assurance Technician The role of this position is to assist the QA Manager in coordinating a facility-wide GMP/HACCP Food Safety Program, and to ensure these programs are adhered to, including facility compliance and achieving audit requirements. Pay depends on experience. Schedule is from 3:00pm - 12:30am Monday through Friday with Saturday availability if necessary. Responsibilities Ensure proper sampling and documentation is complete on product, CCP metal detectors, weight control, calibrating scales, moisture machine verification, submitting samples Verify all logs from processing are complete and report any discrepancies Assisting in GMP compliance audits and inspections Perform Pre-op inspection and documentation, follow up on corrective action Performs monthly glass audit for Famoso and Kyte reports to QA Manager Other duties assigned by QA Manager and help in conducting training Must have the smocks ready for daily use in production area Must be able to understand and properly fill out daily documentation Conduct monitoring procedures stated out in HACCP and in their appropriate food safety and quality manuals, reporting breaches if any Conduct environmental swabbing on equipment throughout facility Requirements Requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required Must know math to be able to perform the QC testing, percentage and grams will be calculated #J-18808-Ljbffr
