$15.00 - $17.00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Inspect foam products, including mattresses, toppers, and pillows for defects, consistency, and overall quality.
- Perform dimensional checks and visual inspections to ensure products meet customer and internal specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of testing and findings.
- Identify and report nonconforming materials or products to the production team and supervisors.
- Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct random and routine checks throughout the production process to maintain quality standards.
- Follow established procedures for handling rejected or reworked materials.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient operation.
- Comply with all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred.
- Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection environment preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or inconsistencies.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, product drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
