We are looking for someone to focus on developing processes, programs, and procedures as the corporation expands its footprint in the United States.Position SummarySOODE, KS is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to administrate and coordinate quality control functions in a fast-paced, start-up manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), customer requirements, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of identifying and resolving quality-related issues efficiently. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.Essential Functions & CompetenciesMaintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards.Collaborate closely with customer quality departments, providing timely and accurate data, reports, and feedback.Assist in customer and regulatory audits, working alongside the Quality Manager.Develop and implement quality control procedures, identifying process improvements and standardization opportunities.Investigate and determine root causes of quality issues; support corrective actions and preventive measures.Monitor Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and Material Review Board (MRB) closure timelines, ensuring timely resolution.Establish and enforce best practices in documentation, training, and compliance monitoring.Support the implementation of paperless manufacturing and risk-based quality methodologies.Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement action plans accordingly.Provide periodic reports and insights on quality performance metrics.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline1+ years of experience using QC Seven Tools or Lean Six Sigma methodologies2+ years of experience in inspection workStrong ability to identify and resolve material defects effectivelyFamiliarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to thrive in multi-national environments and communicate across diverse teamsStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a start-up environmentTravel: Occasional domestic travel with up to 1 international trip per year.Physical QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsSupplemental InformationPre-employment background check and drug testing is required.
