Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Reliance One, Inc. is hiring a Quality Engineer to support product quality, process improvement, and compliance within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet internal, customer, and industry standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.


Position Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring and improving product and process quality, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, identifying issues, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) internally and externally
  • Develop and maintain process parameters
  • Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) on the shop floor
  • Apply Lean manufacturing methods
  • Interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Utilize structured problem-solving techniques
  • Complete and implement 8D corrective actions

Required Experience

  • SPC implementation and utilization

  • Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
  • 8D corrective action implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with MeasureLink (preferred, not required)


Education & Qualifications

  • Experience working within an Automotive IATF 16949 quality system
  • 4–7 years of experience in a Quality Engineer or Quality Control Engineer role


Physical Requirements

  • Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting
  • Walking and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to respond to public address announcements


Environmental & Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing/shop environment with forklifts and heavy equipment
  • Uneven walking surfaces due to floor wear
  • Dusty and noisy conditions
  • Temperature fluctuations due to open doors and outdoor exposure
  • Slippery floors during wet conditions or due to oils/coolants
  • Handling parts with sharp edges
  • Exposure to fumes, hazardous materials, and machinery
