Job Description
A Quality Control Engineer monitors and tests product quality, ensures compliance with standards, identifies issues, and recommends solutions.
Responsibilities
• Administer corrective and preventative actions internally and externally
• Process parameter development
• Implement SPC on the shop floor
• Apply lean methods
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and GD&T
• Use problem?solving techniques
• Complete and implement 8D corrective actions

• Statistical Process Control implementation and utilization
• Root cause analysis and problem?solving techniques
• PFMEA, Control Plans, Capability Studies
• Basic blueprint reading/interpretation and GD&T

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with MeasureLink (preferred, not required)

Education & Qualifications
• Experience and knowledge in an Automotive IATF 16949 system
• 4–7 years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer

• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
• Responding to public address announcements

• Uneven walking surfaces due to heavy equipment traffic
• Dusty and noisy shop environment
• Drafts and temperature changes from frequently open doors

• Exposure to gas fumes from forklifts
• Possible contact with hazardous materials
• Occasional outdoor work with climate fluctuations
