Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, customer-supplied materials, returned goods, and special components.
  • Conduct finished goods, start-up, and in-process inspections.
  • Monitor production areas as directed.
  • Measure and record data on inspection forms or job cards.
  • Perform testing and record data for statistical process control (SPC) during manufacturing as needed.
  • Report non-conforming products or out-of-control processes to the Quality Control Supervisor.
  • Communicate test failures or other concerns to Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Set up computer programs for label printing on cutting lines.
  • Assist Engineering with experimental testing.
  • Enter finished goods inspection data into the BMS.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good documentation practices.
  • Understanding of part workmanship.
  • Ability to handle numbers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with micrometers, computers, testing equipment, and electronic balances.
  • Experience with Excel preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
