We are seeking sharp, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors to oversee our plastic extrusion and molding processes. In this role, you will be the final line of defense, ensuring every product leaving our facility meets the high standards our customers expect. We are primarily looking for 1st-shift talent but have openings across all shifts for the right candidates. Whats In It For You? Responsibilities Include Product Inspection: Conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of plastic parts to identify defects, warping, or surface imperfections. Testing & Measurement: Use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to verify that products meet exact blueprints and tolerances. Reporting: Maintain detailed digital and written logs of inspection results, documenting pass/fail rates and specific non-conformities. Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with the production team to identify why a part failed and help implement solutions to prevent future defects. Compliance: Ensure all production activities adhere to ISO standards and internal safety protocols. Material Handling: Periodically move or lift product batches for sampling and verification. Skills & Qualifications Unwavering Attention to Detail: The ability to spot minute inconsistencies that others might miss. Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active on the production floor throughout the shift. Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints. Experience using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, height gauges, scales). Basic computer skills for data entry and quality reporting. Strong Communication: Ability to clearly explain quality issues to machine operators and supervisors. Experience: Previous QC experience in a plastics or manufacturing environment is highly preferred, but we will train candidates with a strong mechanical background. Critical Thinking: A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
