With facilities in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Mexico, the company designs and manufactures certified aerospace equipment used by operators worldwide.The Montreal facility supports engineering, manufacturing, and quality operations critical to the production of aerospace-certified components.Position OverviewThe Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components, and parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and purchase order requirements.This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and preventing non-conforming materials from entering the production process.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming materials and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Verify documentation, certificates of conformity, and supplier paperwork.Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.Identify and report non-conforming materials in accordance with quality procedures.Work with quality, procurement, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.Support supplier quality initiatives and incoming inspection processes.Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and internal procedures.QualificationsEducationTechnical diploma in Quality Inspection, Mechanical Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience2–5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing.Technical SkillsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment.Knowledge of quality control procedures and documentation.Familiarity with GGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is an assetKey CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow structured quality proceduresGood documentation and reporting disciplineCollaboration with quality, procurement, and production teamsBilingual French-EnglishWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work in a global aerospace manufacturing environmentExposure to certified aerospace quality systemsCollaborative and quality-focused workplace
