Job Description The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet defined standards before moving to the next stage of production or shipping. They perform visual inspections of incoming materials, in‑process assemblies, and final products to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and documented procedures. Inspectors record findings, maintain quality data, elevate non‑conformances, and collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to prevent defects and uphold product integrity. Specific duties include: Inspecting incoming materials (PC boards, sheet metal, etc.) PC board and harness assemblies (manydifferenttypes) Finalassemblies(assembledpowersupplies) FinalInspection(afterTestand Burn-in,beforeshipping) Inspectmaterialordersonyourdailyassignmentsheet,usingBOMsandassemblydrawings EnterRejectinformationintocomputer,printreworktravellerandreturnorderto production and/ordoMove transactions as required to move order to next department KeepQASupervisorinformedofQualityissues WillcertifyinIPC-610and620workmanshipstandards Other duties may be assigned as required Workhoursare:DayShift:7:00amto3:30pm,Half-hour unpaid lunch, plus overtime when needed Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English Ability to readandunderstandmechanicaldrawingsandBillsofMaterial Usemicrometer,dialcaliper,holegaugeandothermeasuringtools Ability to identify Resistorcolorcode,componentidentification Exhibit strong solderingskills Abilitytolift50poundstomovematerialto/fromcartortable Effective communicationskills Strongworkethic,goodjudgement,andattentiontodetail Abilitytothinkclearlyandlogically Additional Information XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collaborative, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
