We are a leading provider of refurbished phones, committed to delivering high-quality devices to our customers. We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team, responsible for ensuring that our refurbished devices meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing refurbished devices to ensure they meet our quality standards. This includes checking for any defects, damage, or functionality issues, and verifying that all devices are properly refurbished and ready for sale.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect and test refurbished phones: Check for any defects, damage, or functionality issues, including:

- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.)

- Functional issues (screen problems, battery life, etc.)

- Software issues (operating system, apps, etc.)

2. Verify device specifications: Ensure that all devices meet the specified requirements, including:

- Model and serial number

- Storage capacity and RAM

- Operating system and software version

3. Check for proper refurbishment: Verify that all devices have been properly refurbished, including:

- Cleaning and disinfecting

- Replacement of damaged or worn-out parts

- Software updates and resets

4. Conduct functional testing: Test devices to ensure they are functioning properly, including:

- Making and receiving calls

- Sending and receiving texts and emails

- Accessing the internet and using apps

5. Identify and document defects: Document any defects or issues found during inspection and testing, and notify the refurbishment team for repair or replacement.

6. Maintain quality control records: Keep accurate records of all inspections and tests, including results and any defects or issues found.

7. Collaborate with refurbishment team: Work with the refurbishment team to ensure that all devices are properly refurbished and meet our quality standards.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent: Required
  2. 1-2 years of experience: In quality control or a related field, preferably in the electronics or telecommunications industry
  3. Technical knowledge: Of mobile devices and operating systems, including iOS and Android
  4. Attention to detail: Ability to inspect devices carefully and identify defects or issues
  5. Analytical skills: Ability to analyze test results and identify trends or patterns
  6. Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with the refurbishment team and other stakeholders
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: With multiple priorities and deadlines
