Quality Inspector Essential Functions: Conduct detailed inspections of assemblies, parts, and finished products, maintaining very close limits and tolerances. Use precision measuring instruments to perform high-grade inspection work and exercise sound judgment. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and gauges to ensure product compliance. Perform incoming, electroplating, and final inspections as required. Basic Work Functions: Review drawings and procedures as needed (with guidance on company-specific methods, such as Company procedures). Ensure parts and products conform to quality requirements and document findings in inspection reports. Analyze non-conforming parts/products to determine root cause and support corrective and preventive actions. Learn and properly use various measurement tools, electronic test devices, mechanical gauges, and other hand tools for quality verification. Access and utilize internal electronic databases to retrieve relevant documentation, track design changes, and maintain accurate records. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
