Quality Control Inspector - Structural Steel Why This Role Matters This position supports quality and compliance across structural steel fabrication operations. Inspectors work closely with shop floor teams to ensure fabricated components meet engineering drawings, weld standards, and fabrication tolerances while maintaining production efficiency and quality control. Work closely with shop floor personnel during fabrication Read and interpret engineering drawings and detailing information Translate drawings and detailing requirements to shop floor operations Inspect fit-up quality of fabricated components Inspect and evaluate weld quality Strong ability to read engineering drawings Understanding of the detailing and fabrication process Experience inspecting fabrication work Ability to evaluate weld quality and recognize questionable welds Working knowledge of AWS or AISC standards Comfortable making independent inspection decisions on the shop floor Submit resume to or apply online. #J-18808-Ljbffr
