Quality Control InspectorThe Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring all incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet company and industry quality standards and specifications. The inspector performs visual and dimensional inspections, documents findings, and communicates with production teams to address non-conformance issues.RequirementsConduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and completed products. This includes visual checks as well as dimensional measurements using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure that parts and assemblies meet design requirements.Accurately complete inspection reports, logs, and other documentation. Record and report any defects, deviations, or non-conforming products to supervisors.Maintain and calibrate inspection and measurement equipment to ensure accurate and reliable readings. Call for repairs as needed.Segregate and document non-conforming materials. Assist in investigating the root cause of quality issues and implementing corrective actions.Communicate effectively with production teams, engineers, and management to address and resolve quality-related problems.Minimum Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School Degree
