About the Role

Seeking a Quality Control Lab Assistant to support daily laboratory operations in a regulated environment. This onsite position involves preparing materials for testing, managing sample receipt and storage, operating laboratory equipment, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for laboratory testing.

  • Receive and process specimens and supplies, tracking samples through automated and manual systems.

  • Maintain accurate records for sample storage, retrieval, and reconciliation for retesting.

  • Ensure proper handling, tracking, and disposal of donor samples according to biohazard protocols.

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and computerized inventory systems.

  • Adhere to cGMP guidelines, safety regulations, and all laboratory standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Support inventory monitoring for laboratory supplies and report needs to supervisors.

  • Participate in continuing education and training as required.

  • Perform other lab-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic computer skills and comfort working with laboratory information systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous laboratory experience is an advantage.

Additional Details
  • Position is 100% onsite; remote work is not permitted.

  • Adherence to laboratory dress code and safety guidelines required at all times.

  • Candidates must be prepared for a lab tour during the interview process (long pants and closed-toe shoes required).
