Quality Control Manager – ASME Pressure Vessel & Piping Fabrication

Job Location: Hartville, Ohio

Job Type: Full-time – Dayshift

MITCO Fabrication & Welding LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the company’s quality program for fabrication of ASME Code pressure vessels and piping systems.

Our company fabricates equipment in accordance with:

• ASME Section VIII Division 1

• ASME Section I

• ASME B31.1 Power Piping

• ASME B31.3 Process Piping

• ASME Section IX Welding Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the ASME Quality Control Manual

• Manage WPS, PQR, and Welder/Welding Operator Qualifications

• Supervise shop inspectors and quality personnel

• Oversee NDE programs (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT)

• Interface with Authorized Inspectors and National Board requirements

• Ensure traceability of materials, MTRs, and fabrication records

• Lead ASME audits and Joint Reviews

• Review inspection records and code documentation

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in ASME pressure vessel or piping fabrication

• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div.1 and Section IX

• Experience with B31.1 and B31.3 piping codes

• Experience managing welding qualifications and NDE programs

• Prior leadership of quality teams preferred

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

• ASNT Level II or III
