Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead and implement the project Quality Control program. The QC Manager will oversee all QC activities on-site, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation throughout all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the project Quality Control (QC) program
- Attend coordination and mutual understanding meetings
- Perform and manage the three phases of control
- Review and approve submittals
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and QC documentation
- Manage QC Specialists, testing labs, and inspection personnel
- Coordinate and notify Special Inspectors as required
- Ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 safety standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Licensed Architect preferred
- Minimum 4 years of similar construction experience
- Experience working Army Core Construction Projects. (USACE)
- At least 2 years of experience as a QC Manager
- Working knowledge of EM 385-1-1, hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Employment Requirement:
- Prior experience with working on projects with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers preferred
